...the partially (1/2) painted left shoe has a windmill
carved
on the left side (there may also be landscaping
& words)...
...the right shoe has etched or carved on right side:
"Century
of Progress, Chicago 1933"
THE SHOES ARE DRILLED FOR HANGING...
CONDITION:  A little over 86 years old, they look it,
as the
painted shoe & the carvings have faded.  The
painted shoe
also has a 1/4" hole on the bottom (the
elves that wore these
shoes obviously enjoyed them).
